  • Who can participate in the Conference?
    Primary and secondary school students (ages 11-18), educators of all levels, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students from all over Europe.
  • Is there a limit on the number of students who can participate?
    There is no limit on the number of students who can participate from each school unit in the conference, as long as each group does not exceed thirty (30) participants.  If a school wishes to participate with more than thirty (30) students, they should submit a second project.
  • Is there a limit on the number of accompanying teachers who can attend?
    No, there isn’t. The first teacher is free of charge and one teacher for every fifteen (15) students is also free of charge. However, the presence of additional teachers is subject to a fee of € 40,00 per person.
  • What should the Parental/Guardian Consent Form include?
    “…I give permission for my son/daughter, (full name) to participate in the Student Conference on Education, which will take place in Vienna from March 27 to 29, 2026, at the Austria Center Vienna, organized by SyneΘesis. I have been informed of and I agree with the program arranged by my child’s school as well as with the terms and conditions of the trip.”
  • Is Syneθesis responsible for the participants’ transportation and accommodation?
    No, the students’ transportation and accommodation is solely the responsibility of each school and the accompanying teachers. The same applies to individual participants.
  • What is the main theme of the Conference?
    The main theme of the Conference differs every year, but it is always related to topics concerning culture, education, environment, technology, and society.
  • What type of work can students present at the conference?

  • Is there a limit on the number of projects a participant can present at the conference?

  • What is the participation fee?

  • How is payment made?
    You can complete your reservation by transferring the amount via bank transfer.

    Your reservation is confirmed within 10 working days upon payment of the amount. In the case of a bank transfer from a different bank (and not the National Bank of Greece), any transfer fee is paid by the sender.
  • What is the payment deadline?
    The final payment deadline is within 10 working days from the date of the reservation submission. If you face difficulty making the payment within the designated time frame, please contact the SyneΘesis Organizing Team.
  • Can a reservation be cancelled?
    Cancellations can be made within 10 days from the payment date, and the corresponding amount will be refunded. Alternatively, other students may participate in place of those unable to attend. In this case, no refund is issued.
  • Is a certificate of participation provided?
    A certificate of participation is given to all participants.
