Who can participate?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students of primary and secondary education (ages 11-18), as well as university students and educators from all over Europe, can participate in the Conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Conference lasts for three (3) days.<\/strong> Each day of the Conference is divided into two (2) sessions<\/strong>: a morning session and an afternoon session. The day and session for each presentation depends on its topic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Student Participation Guidelines<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All students who register for the conference can only <\/strong>participate through group projects<\/strong>.Each group may consist of up to thirty (30) members<\/strong>, and each group may participate with only one (1) project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If a school wishes to participate with more than thirty (30) students, they should submit a second project. Priority will be given based on the order in which each school completes its registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

University Student and Educator Participation Guidelines<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

University students and educators may participate in the conference either individually or in groups<\/strong>. Each participant may submit only one (1) project or activity, whether individually or as part of a group. There is limited availability for individual projects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Modes of Participation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in the Conference may take, indicatively, one of the following ways<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speech\/Presentation<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each speech or presentation must not exceed 10 minutes in duration and must be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation. The students presenting the project (regardless of the total number of participants) must not exceed five (5) individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Language<\/strong><\/strong>
Each group may deliver their presentation either in their native language or in English<\/strong>. However, it is necessary to include English subtitles in the PowerPoint in case the presentation is given in their native language.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Poster<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The poster must include a title, a text, and photos (a frame template will be sent to each school).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The font size of the text should range from 26\u201328 (as dense texts can be tiring for the reader), and the images should be accompanied by their corresponding captions (cutlines).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special attention should be given to the dimensions and quality of the photos to ensure they are clear when printed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any layout can be used, but two-column posters are preferable. The background is up to each team\u2019s choice; however, a light-coloured background with dark-coloured text is easier on the reader\u2019s eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Language<\/strong><\/strong>
Each group may choose to use either their native language or English<\/strong>. However, it is necessary to include an English version of the text or provide English subtitles in a separate leaflet in case the poster is in their native language.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Musical\/Drama performance, short film, rhetorical contest,<\/strong>
scientific experiment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of the above projects must last up to 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visual arts creation: painting composition, drawing \u2013<\/strong>
Photography exhibition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All visual arts creations will be displayed in a specially designated area of the Conference Centre. The participants representing their team must be able to describe the composition<\/strong>, provide information<\/strong>, and answer questions<\/strong> from the attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Language<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>
The language used to present their work depends on the language of the person they are speaking to at the given moment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Summary of Projects<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

It is important that participants submit a summary of their project at least one month before the conference for any type of project they take part in. <\/strong>The summaries should include a brief description of the content, the purpose, the method, and the way the project will be implemented and presented. During the conference, all participating schools and individual participants will receive a Book of Abstracts<\/em> containing all the projects that will be presented.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
